As a Subud member since 1975, I have had a long and deeply rewarding relationship with SICA which has included musical performances in Australia, Mexico and Germany. I have also become close to wonderful people from all over the world, and among them are incredible musicians, artists, healers as well as other beautiful brothers and sisters. My five years of service as Chair of SICA-USA lasted until I asked Paul Nelson to take over last fall while I was experiencing some health adventures. Paul joined the board at my invitation during a Menucha gathering a couple of years ago, and he has infused the board with energy and direction ever since.
We now have a dynamic, vital group of board members who are working hard to realize the vision of SICA USA, and to that end, we are starting a fund drive. We are asking for $10/month to fuel the work of the board, which encompasses weekly inspiring blog posts, supporting the projects of Subud members, and helping to create quality entertainment for congresses.
