Concerto for Violin and Cello: Un Pasto con Luciana e Mario (14:49 total)

I caught up (on July 16, 2021) with longtime Subud creative Dahlan Roberto Foah on a project he and his beloved Honora commissioned to honor his Father Mario’s 100th birthday. (100!) I love how the Latihan came though him during this interview and affected me just by discussing testing! My intro went something like this:

Your Dad is turning 100, so what to give him? Well, you are in the music business so you email a few friends, hope they can compose, rehearse and record in a guided way and batta boom batta bing you help create:

Un Pasto con Luciana e Mario

In honor of Mario Foah’s 100th. birthday, Honora and Dahlan Roberto Foah commissioned Maestro Lucas Richman to write a Concerto for Violin and Cello. The World Premiere will be in Atlanta, Georgia, with Kenn Wagner, violin soloist and David Schepps, cello soloist.  Dahlan Foah, conducting. Here to discuss how this happens is that conductor, longtime Subud creative and supporter of SICA-USA, Dahlan Roberto Foah.

Do you know a Subud creative who has a story to tell? We’d like to interview them. Share your thoughts in the comments, or contact us here.
