SICA-USA has awarded POPO, the August POetry POstcard Fest a grant to support this international festival (created by a Subud member, your SICA-USA webmaster) and encourages Subud poets around the world to join the fest.

In year 14, the festival involves poets (of all ability levels and experience) to register, get a list of the names and addresses of 32 poets and agree to send each one an original poem composed on a postcard by August 31, the end of the festival. There is a popular Facebook page for the fest: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PoPo.cards/ and the possibilities for creativity are endless, with the content being one realm, the making of the actual cards (which is not required but many participants choose to do) down to the actual penmanship/calligraphy.
