Hollywood’s fixation on “the Male Gaze” continues a legacy of objectification of women by that industry and the culture at large and it takes an effort to rid yourself of this condition once infected by it. This is the thesis behind a new film by Subud L.A. member, fim-maker and theorist Nina Menkes.
