Caling Subud poets, or those who want to dabble in writing poetry and be part of a unique poetry community that has been building for 13 years.

The August Poetry Postcard Fest was initiated in 2007 by poets Paul Nelson (your humble narrator) and Lana Ayers. and 2019 marks the thirteenth year of the fest and this is the official call. It is the biggest annual fundraiser for SPLAB.

You register, on or after July 4th get your list of 32 participants and you have until the end of August to write 31 original poems on postcards to the people on your list. Consider. For many participating poets this is a time of year like the holidays, or something similar. It has its own feel, vibe, rhythm.
