Mendelssohn in Beijing

Music has taken me to many countries, sometimes for Subud and SICA as well as other professional concerts. My travels have included Europe, Australia, Japan, China and Korea, and during my first trip to China, I played twentieth century music with Third Angle, and I also did some solo recitals. One of them was in the “egg”, the National Theater in Beijing, and a photographer captured an excerpt of the Mendelssohn Sonata in D Major, which I am sharing here. The Mendelssohn is a wonderful piece, full of life, humor and lyricism.
