Jim O’Halloran

The Chair of Subud Greater Seattle is a world-class musician who leads a trio twice a month in Seattle’s diverse Columbia City neighborhood and quintet in an annual concert at the jewel of Seattle’s neighborhood “P-Patch” gardens, Bradner Gardens.

This year Jim O’Halloran and his band played this concert for the 14th year and longtime Subud member Hanafi Libman took photos and at least one video of the occasion. The Jim O’Halloran Quintet (& Trio) tends to feature a post-bop, post-fusion approach to Jazz in the 21st century and his annual concert is an eclectic, inspiring affair featuring poets and vocalists. A highlight of Seattle’s outdoor summer concert season.
