I seem to be evolving a new (for me!) process of creation. Here’s an example. Up here In the mountains are lots of oak trees… some of them grow holes, and I began imagining beings from elsewhere that live in these holes. I started photographing these holes, then spent hours writing a poem which is – as it were- dictated by these beings. Then I loaded the best oakhole images on to IMovie, recorded the poem on Garage Band, moved it to ITunes then to IMovie as soundtrack to go with the oakhole images, played around with it so that it all fitted, then posted it on YouTube. Then watched and listened to it on the TV. Came out pretty well. About 2 minutes long. It’s called Welcome. Here’s the link in case you wanna watch it.
