The Allemandes from the Bach Cello Suites are engaging and astounding and reflect the character and key of the Suites in which they occur. They are the first of several pieces with dance titles which follow the Preludes to the Suites, and some are melodious and lyrical, and some have playful, spirited qualities. The performance includes the Allemandes in C Major, D minor and G Major. Recorded on June 6, 2021. Video produced by Tom Emerson.

Brilliant and enthralling….
Thank you, Hamilton! Wonderfully expressive, and challenging. I need to put in more time listening to Bach’s ‘cello suites.
