Call for Artists: 2027 SICA-USA Calendar
We invite Subud creatives to submit artwork for inclusion in the 2027 SICA-USA wall calendar
About the Calendar
The SICA-USA calendar is a visual celebration of creativity within the Subud community. The 2027 edition will feature thirteen artworks by Subud creatives and will be shared at congresses, events, and in homes throughout the year.
This project aims to:
- Increase visibility for SICA-USA and the creative work within our community
- Encourage artistic participation across the Subud community
- Bring art into everyday spaces throughout the year
Who Can Submit
This call is open to all Subud USA members, regardless of experience level. Professional artists, emerging artists, photographers, illustrators, designers, and hobbyists are all welcome.
If you create visual work and would like to share it, we encourage you to submit.
Artwork Guidelines
- Up to 3 artworks per artist
- Original visual artwork (painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, digital, etc.)
- Square format: 10.65 x 10.65 inches (3204 X 3204 Pixels)
- High-resolution images at 300 DPI
- RGB color mode, JPG format
- Non-square images will be cropped to fit
- Final image placement and cropping will be handled by the calendar designer.
Cover Image (Optional)
Artists may also submit work for consideration as the calendar cover.
- Final cover size: 11 x 17 inches (3300 x 5100 pixels)
- Resolution: 300 DPI
- Portrait orientation preferred
Submitting a cover image is optional and not required for interior selection.
How to Submit
- Prepare your image(s) according to the guidelines above and include the following information for each artwork:
- Title
- Medium
- Year
- Artist’s name
- You are also asked to complete the Participating Artist’s Agreement
Option 1 (Preferred): Online Submission Form
Submit your artwork and completed agreement using our Google Form with file upload.
Note: You will need to sign in with a Google account to upload files.

If you experience difficulty uploading files, please contact us at sicausa2022@gmail.com , and we will arrange an alternative submission method. Please note that response may take a little time, as this inbox is monitored by volunteer staff.
Option 2: File-Sharing Link
Upload images and completed agreement to Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer. Then email the download link to: sicausa2022@gmail.com

PDeadline: March 31, 2026
What Happens Next
- Submissions will be reviewed after the deadline
- Selected artists will be notified by email
- Final calendar design and production will take place in 2026
- Calendars will be printed via print-on-demand and available for events and purchase.
Artist Recognition
Selected artists will receive:
- Credit in the printed calendar
- Visibility through SICA-USA communications
- Inclusion wherever the calendar project is shared at congresses and events
