The Chair Plays Russian Music

From Hamilton Cheifetz:

Russian music is known for its intensity and intense emotion.  However, this is a very lighthearted piece by Prokofiev, from his Sonata in C Major for Cello and Piano, during a concert in 2014 entitled “Russian Romance”.  The pianist is my dear friend, the wonderful Janet Guggenheim.  She is someone who makes me play better through the natural, sensitive qualities of her playing and energy.

  2. I discovered Prokofiev’s chamber music when I was a freshman in college. It is still a favorite. Thank you!
