East Tennessee Sacred Circle Dance and Bay Area Circle Dancers are pleased and excited to offer two opportunities to dance with exquisite world dance teachers Stefan and Bethan Freedman from England:

October 5 – 6: Colors of Life! Circle Dance Weekend, Knoxville, TN

October 18 – 19 – 20: Sun and Moon Circle Dance Weekend, El Cerrito (near San Francisco), CA

Bethan and Stefan were among the first sacred/circle dance teachers in the U.K. They teach both traditional dances and their own outstanding choreography. Tailoring dance sessions to each group of dancers, their dances range from fiery and passionate to deeply mystical. Bethan trained in dance at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and delights in sharing her exquisite style that opens up secrets and joys of each culture through dancing. Stefan creates dances to explore many dimensions and moods of contemporary world music. He plays a colorful diversity of folk instruments. Together Bethan and Stefan create a festive atmosphere, transmitting stylish sequences with clarity and humor. They support and encourage dancers at all levels.
